Merry Christmas To All

I can’t believe how fast this year just flew by..  This year Christmas feels a lot different from the past years.  I’ve been scrambling to get all gifts for my nieces and nephews.  I’ll never do last minute shopping ever again.  Perhaps, the economy isn’t as bad as the media been talking about, because there are so many people out spending $$$.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and have a safe journey if you’re traveling.

Oh here is the picture of my neighbor’s house, i just took it about 30 minutes ago.  This guy have no more room to hang anymore light. LOL  I forgot to mention, Christmas Music was playing non-stop.

I would hate to be his next door neighbors. How can you out do this guy? hahhahah

Oh check out what I had before Christmas Eve dinner..    It was so good:-)

Mom called.. "I made some kao piek" I was like... Oh.. Yesssssss!!

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

By the way, that banh canh (kow piek) look so good especially with the weather we are having.

There is a guy in my old neighborhood that did his house like Chevy Chase did to his house in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. He set up a homemade radio station that would broadcast a song every 20 minutes. It was a good thing he live in a cul de sac and no neighbor around him. People would drive up to front of his house. Turn on a radio at certain frequency and watch the light show playing to Mannheim Steamroller.

    Hi seeharhead,

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

I would just shop online or make some handmade gifts – just to avoid the shops and crowds. 😉

That soup looks very good. I will have to remind my mom to make some of the fresh noodles. They are good and perfect winter food.

Cambree – I normally finish my Christmas shopping by Thanksgiving. For some reasons I didn’t get around to it til last minute, I’ll never do that again.

The soup was great with this cold weather.

That is one of a “light” house. You won’t need any street light. LOL! Oops, and the music. Well, all part of the christmas spirit. But sounds like they have gone OTT. You should put on some Laos music!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family too.

Wow, he even got Santa and the crews up there, nice picture.

I hope you have a good Christmas and Santa was kind to you. I don’t do Christmas shopping, Bo did all for us. Your Kao Piek reminded me of my mom’s, looked just like yours.

Nye – You’re so lucky that you didn’t have to do any shopping. Actually, I didn’t expect anything from Santa. I got some tickets to the movie and starbucks card.

I love mom’s kao piek.. I was so happy when I received the call… come over, I made some kao piek..
